Priest And 2 Porn Stars Had Threesome On Top Of Church Altar | Charges Of Obscenity Dropped Against Them Dropped

The archdiocese had to burn down the altar and build a new one in order to wipe away what had been done.

In September 2020, a Louisiana priest scandalized the community when he and two female porn stars were caught having sex on top of a church altar, according to Fox News.

37-year-old Travis Clark, 41-year-old Mindy Dixon, and 28-year-old Melissa Cheng were having sex on the altar when they were spotted by a passerby, who looked into the church windows after noticing the lights were on. At the time, the two dominatrices were dressed in corsets and high heels. Shocked by the scene, the witness called the police who arrived on the scene to see cameras and phones mounted on tripods, stage lighting, and sex toys. Prior to the incident, Mindy had posted on social media stating that she was about to meet another dominatrix "and defile a house of God."

When talking to the authorities, Travis claimed that the two women were only his "guests and friends." The dominatrices added that they were there just for "roleplay" and cops determined that all of the activity was consensual. Despite that, all three of them were arrested at the scene and charged with obscenity because it was in clear view of the public. However, those charges were dropped. Attorney Bradley Phillips told NOLA that is was the right decision since everything was consensual and it was on private property. Following the ruling, the obscenity charges were dropped, but the trio was slapped with those of vandalism.

"It is clear the state went out of its way to contort the facts of this case in order to fit their own narrative," Bradley told the newspaper in response to the new allegations. "This [is] nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to regulate the morality of private individuals. Just because you don’t like something, doesn’t make it criminal. My clients look forward to their day in court as we continue to fight this baseless allegation."

But just because the attorney is fighting for the priest and the women doesn't mean others are happy about it. As soon as the incident was revealed, the archdiocese announced that Travis had been suspended from the ministry. Archbishop Gregory Aymond posted a video online regarding the arrest. He said, "Many people feel anger, betrayal and disappointment, and I feel the same way, as do my brother priests. Regarding Travis, his obscene behavior was deplorable, his desecration of the altar in the church was demonic and I am infuriated by his actions. When the details became clear we had the altar removed and burned. I will consecrate a new altar tomorrow."

Town council member and lifelong member of the church, Kat Walsh, believed that Travis had always been likable and hardworking. So his arrest had come as a sucker punch and had upset parishioners. According to NOLA, she said, "What upsets me is, why did he have to do that there? I'm upset for all of us, the parishioners of the church. Why there?" Soon after their arrest, Travis was released from jail after a $25,000 bond was posted while Mindy and Melissa posted bonds of $7,500, according to the records.
